The sell-out event was a massive success, with feedback from veteran Navsters saying it was one of the best Navrun events they had attended.

The Aussie Disposals 4WD Navrun organiser Rudi Paoletti, commented that “the competitors were some of the best we have had ‐ laid back, friendly and well behaved.”

With drizzly rain on the Saturday, Sunday proved a pleasant surprise with a clear sunny day adding to spectator and participants enjoyment.

Navrun competitions began in 2002 and are team events for 4WD vehicles. A digital camera and list of GPS reference points are given to competitors along with photos of location at each of the different reference points. Competitor’s race to get to the places first, identify which photo was taken at the location and take their own identical photo as proof. Every Navrun event is different, with new exciting locations and courses.

The next Victorian event will be the Aussie Disposals Navrun After Dark, which will be held in August this year. For more information, visit the Navrun website at www.navrun.com.au
