Game Council NSW Standard Written Permission Amendment to hunting with dogs

Game Council NSW CEO Brian Boyle has recently advised that Forests NSW and the Game Council have made a chance to the Written Permission for hunting on declared state forests with dogs.

Previously, all dogs had to be fitted with a radio tracking device while being used for hunting on declared public land.

However, the tracking device is now not required for dogs being used for hunting that are on a leash or lead.

Please note that all dogs not used for hunting must always be controlled on a leash and/or confined at all times.
