Polaris attacks the mid-size ATV market with $1000 off

Polaris is currently the fastest-growing brand for mid-size farm ATVs. Not satisfied with the 290 per cent increase in mid-size sales this year, the US manufacturer has sharpened its pencil with a deal ending December 31 this year. At participating dealers until the end of the year, the Polaris Sawtooth, Hawkeye 2x4 and Hawkeye 4x4 will be available for $5495, $6995 and $7995 respectively.

Both the Sawtooth and the Hawkeye are completely new model introductions for 2006, and have helped Polaris push the Ag ATV market to record sales levels.

The Sawtooth is a great first ATV, with a hardy 200cc Auto powertrain, full floorboards for stability, shaft drive and front disc brakes for low maintenance.

In 2001, Polaris engineers visited several Australian and New Zealand farms, then returned to Minnesota and designed Hawkeye as a 300cc global farm quad winner. Its launch in 2006 has been very well received by farmers across Australasia.

With premium features usually found only on big-bore machines, the mid-sized Polaris Hawkeye has created an entirely new class of ATVs.

“Polaris boasts that this ATV has features the other mid-size machines don’t, they’re right on the money”, said Barry Ashenhurst, Australia’s leading ATV journalist.

“The suspension is so good it leaves the rider to concentrate on what he or she is out there to do. There’s no underestimating the importance of ride quality.”

“There is nothing worse than riding an organ grinder that belts the hell out of you. That won’t happen on the Hawkeye.”
