Clive Pugh appointed as new General Manager at Winchester Australia
Winchester Australia is pleased to announce the appointment
of Clive Pugh as the new General Manager. Clive takes over from previous General Manager Kevin O’Grady, who had served in this position for seven and a half years.
Clive has returned to Geelong from Adelaide where he held the position of General Manager of the Industry Capability Network South Australia. The move to Winchester marks a return to home for Clive, a former resident of Geelong who completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Deakin University.
Clive has developed a diverse range of skills and experience having spent time as general manager of Northern Cement Limited in Darwin, time in his own consulting business and a number of management accounting roles with Adelaide Brighton Cement and Alcoa of Australia. “There are many challenges facing the industry in Australia and I am looking forward to working with our people, our customers and our suppliers to build the Winchester brand”, said Clive. “Winchester has a long established business in Australia and we will continue to have a presence in manufacturing and distribution in Australia and New Zealand. I look forward to consolidating Winchester’s position as the most widely used ammunition brand in the market.
