Polaris Hawkeye - the new mid-sized champ
It’s been one of the most anticipated releases of 2006 and now the all-new Polaris Hawkeye 2x4 and 4x4 all terrain vehicles (ATVs) are here to make short work of the toughest tasks.
With premium features usually found only on big bore machines, the mid-sized Polaris Hawkeye is set to create an entirely new class of ATVs.

The IRS not only ensures riders enjoy the legendary smooth Polaris ride, but also means improved handing and less rider fatigue. The wheels move independently over bumps and rocks, and its 20.3cm ground clearance is clearly a class leader.
“Not only is this thing tough, but it’ll give you the smoothest ride of any mid-sized quad on the market,” he said. “And that’s what we’re all about at Polaris…creating the ultimate riding experience for farmers or weekend riders.”
The features of this unique new model do not stop here - the Hawkeye also comes complete with On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD). When climbing on or under powered acceleration, the Polaris AWD system senses when the rear wheels lose traction and automatically engages both front wheels to provide full torque to all four wheels. It reverts to 2WD automatically when AWD is no longer needed.
If you think this is impressive for a mid-sized quad, there’s plenty more to come. With a 340.2kg towing capacity, 77.1kg rack capacity, integrated front storage compartment and receiver hitch, the Hawkeye is a handy vehicle for towing and carrying needs. The Hawkeye is also the only mid-sized ATV that comes Lock & Ride ready, making it easy to customise the Hawkeye to your specific needs. Throw in a few more features like digital instrumentation, Maxxis tyres, Polaris variable transmission and full floorboards, and you have an ATV that is definitely the new mid-sized champ.
