Welcome to Australian Hunter 32. In this edition, we begin with a water-buffalo safari from our North American correspondent Thomas Tabor. Thomas’s story demonstrates that big-game and safari-style hunting is a real and enjoyable option in Australia, not only for us Aussies, but for international hunters.

Carrying on the theme of hunting in more exotic locations, we take you to Africa to hunt that great grey ghost, the kudu, and to New Zealand for tahr and chamois.

In Practical Hunting, Alistair McGlashan gives us an introduction to bowhunting - an activity that is enjoyable in its own right, as well as a supplement to hunting with a firearm.

We have reviews on the Ruger Model 77/44 RSP and Savage Weather Warrior Model 16 rifles and a great do-it-yourself guide to making quality sausages from your game meats.

Enjoy all that this issue has to offer and until next time, good hunting!
