Western Australia Single Action State Titles
4-7 June 2010
The long weekend of June 4 to 7 saw the 2010 SSAA Western Australia Single Action State Titles held at the Jarrahdale Shooting Complex, with the Jarrahdale Sporting Shooters Inc (Jarrahdale Rangers) playing host.
Shooters from clubs all over the state attended and had a great time. The weather was kind, with cool, sunny days and a bit of nippy weather at night. Thankfully, the slow combustion fire in the clubhouse took care of that problem. There was plenty of bunkhouse accommodation and camping facilities available and everyone seemed to be comfortable. A full canteen was running to keep the hungry hoards satisfied and on the Sunday night, the traditional Shindig was a huge success, with generous servings of roast beef, pork and lamb. Congratulations to the cooks.
Twelve stages were shot over the State Titles using five different ranges, plus the Long Range Rifle event.
