IHMSA/SSAA Handgun Metallic Silhouette National Championships

The 29th National Championships of IHMSA Australia Inc is over, but is still being talked about. As usual, it was a terrific representation of Australian Handgun Metallic Silhouette shooters at the one range. There were 36 competitors who shot a total of 359 matches: 138 in Small Bore, 48 in Field Pistol and 173 in Big Bore. In these three categories, there were 15 categories shot. Of the 36 competitors, there were nine (two more than 2008) who elected to shoot all 15 categories, while the majority of competitors shot between 10 and 12 categories all up.

The 2010 National Championships will be held at the SSPC range in Canberra. This will be the 30th anniversary, so start planning now. You, the shooters, make the competition what it is.
