Great Northern Retrieving Trial

The Great Northern has once again come and gone for another year. This year saw our Open competitors judged by Byron Kendall from VIC, Advanced competitors by Robert Price and Intermediate and Test competitors by Fran Jones. We'd like to thank Fran who kindly stepped in for Ron Jackson. Unfortunately Ronny was taken down with a bug and was unable to attend.
Our perpetuals winners are as follows: Companions Trophy - Mrs L Draper with Lydstep Tanner, Banjo Mug - Mr T Lodder with Tenarda Hawkeye, Adsdoe Trophy - Mr K Jeffrey with Lindenjude Callme Hamish... and not forgetting our Fastest Gundog - Mrs D Lynch with Lowther Highland Molly.
Congratulations to all winners and placegetters and thankyou to the wonderful judges.
A very big thankyou must also go to the property nominee, Evan Mangin for such a great property, it is an honor for the club to be able to use such great grounds to test gundogs on.
And last but not least thankyou to all the helpers and volunteers, without you the events would not come together in such a well organised manner.
