SSAA National Junior Challenge

Rimfire Field Rifle & 3-Positional and Rifle Metallic Silhouette
This is a shoulder to shoulder competition specifically for SSAA junior members across Australia. It will be conducted for the two SSAA junior age groups: Under 15 years; and 15 years to under 18 years. National medals will be awarded for first, second and third placings in each age group for each event and an overall National Junior Challenge Champion for 2009.
Program
Saturday, July 11, 2009: 9am: Coaching clinic (Rimfire Rifle Silhouette), Practice session, Rifle Silhouette competition (40 shots)
Sunday, July 12, 2009: 9am: Coaching clinic (Rimfire Field Rifle), Practice session, Field Rifle competition (42 shots)
Monday, July 13, 2009: 9am Coaching clinic (Rimfire 3-Positional), Practice session, NRA 3-P competition (120 Shots)
All competitions will be conducted as per the relevant rule books. Competitors must be SSAA members. Presentations for each event to be held at the end of each day’s shooting and on Monday for the overall winners of the National Junior Challenge. Following the presentations, all competitors, parents and supporters are welcome to participate in a forum to recommend a venue for the 2010 SSAA National Junior Challenge.
Competition fees
$15 per event, or $40 for all three events. Coaching clinic fee: $5 per day.

Nominations
Nominations required by Friday, July 3, 2009. Nomination forms are available from SSAA Brisbane or on their webpage at www.ssaabris.org.au Former SSAA juniors, parents and supporters are welcome at the event. Come along to help and support the competitors.
Accommodation available on-site
Caravans and campers permitted $5 per person per night. Dormitory available $11 per person per night (plus linen if required). Bookings required by phone, fax or email to SSAA Brisbane.
