An important message from Nioa to all dealers nationwide

The recent launch of Bob Katter’s Australian Party is set to cause a shake-up of Queensland state politics. More importantly for those of us who are keen hunters and shooters, this has the potential to be one of the most significant political developments in decades. With positive implications also flowing across to federal politics it's important we all get behind the AusParty movement.

With a high proportion of voters disenfranchised with the two major parties, Bob Katter’s Australian Party is likely to attract considerable support. With strong party values favouring personal freedoms such as hunting, shooting and fishing, it is expected we would see considerable reforms in firearms legislation. This in turn would significantly benefit hunters, shooters, fishermen and other outdoor sports and leisure groups.

I urge you to take every opportunity to promote the AusParty to your customers and help spread the word.  Wider community support is also needed if the party is to have a viable future, so please encourage them to spread the word to their families and friends who are perhaps outside the shooting community. Any dealers that are in a position to provide a financial donation to the party, you can be certain it will be a wise investment in the future of our industry.

If there was ever a time to claw back some of our personal freedoms, now is the time to act.
