Advertising

Magazine advertising
SSAA Media & Publications currently publishes three magazines: the Australian Shooter (monthly), Australian Hunter (quarterly) and Australian & New Zealand Handgun (annually). Advertising is available for each magazine, but is subject to space availability at the time of booking.

Website advertising
We receive about 90,000 hits to our Australian Shooter website each month. We can put an ad on our ‘Business Directory’ webpage with your business logo and link back to your own website for just $50 (including GST) per month.

A digital version of the Australian Shooter magazine’s Shooter’s Gallery is now available to view online under the ‘Shooter’s Gallery’ webpage. Those businesses advertising in the section will now find their ads circulated to a wider audience at no additional cost.

We can also put details of your business, promotions or products under our ‘Industry News’ webpage to run with any advertising option you take up. This is a free service and we encourage you to talk to us about it.

E-newsletter advertising
The E-newsletter is released monthly and is a standalone publication that provides subscribing members with information in addition to and outside of their regular monthly Australian Shooter magazine. It includes updates about current events, stories, reviews, online polls about firearm, sport shooting and recreational hunting issues and other important SSAA news.

Advertising in the E-newsletter is an exclusive and a sure way of capturing the attention of your audience, as only one advertisement is permitted per month. Rates start from just $350 and range up to $500 depending on the file size.

Other marketing
We mail around 10,000 SSAA membership cards to new and existing individual members each month. We are able to include your message as part of this mailing or we can arrange fall-out insert messages. You are welcome to provide us with your ad or message or we can design it for you free of charge. Rates and deadlines are available on enquiry.
